Happy Easter!

Happy Bunny Day to All...

Anderson & I have been playing today, waiting for Jason to coming home from his shift at the hospital. Luckily it's only a day shift and so we get him back for the evening...

In other news, Carol and her mom came by last weekend when I was at work. Carol graciously brought us sweets from Australia (which I promptly devoured in the next few days). She had her mom also brought Anderson an Easter bunny...which he has become very fond of...

(You're not REALLY thinking of taking Mr. Bunny away are you...??)

Jason decided that since Anderson has mastered Levels 1 & 2 in baby food...it was time for level 99...

Munchie did do a nice job of scoring the apple peel all the way around...but wasn't able to quite get any of the inside part....

(Munchie's teacher at day care gets a 'D' for grammar but an 'A' for enthusiasm!)

The bigger news for Munchie this week involved his ears... After an ENT appointment Monday afternoon to evaluate his ears after the FOURTH round of antibiotics for his bilateral ear infections, we found ourselves in the surgery department bright and early (5:30!) the next morning. After 2 hours of waiting (and a 5 minute surgery), we had Anderson back - complete with a set of new ear tubes. They're all the rage these days... It does seem that there are more kids with them than without them. We are happy that Munch can hear better and does not have any more pain/pressure (hopefully). The one downside is that he has to wear earplugs for any water-related activites. He's not a big fan - and they don't stay in that well anyways....it's a small price to pay overall though!

A parting shot from our new/improved Munchie...
